Could American taxpayers see rebate checks?
President Trump told reporters this week that his administration is exploring the idea of issuing rebate checks to American taxpayers: “We have so much money coming in from the tariffs,” Trump said.
“We’re thinking about a rebate. Because we have so much money coming in from tariffs. A little rebate for people of a certain income level might be very nice,” Trump said.
“The big thing we want to do is pay down debt,” he added.
