Another “Trump was right” admission.
During a recent interview with the BBC, former Secretary of State John Kerry admitted that President Trump was right about the state of the southern border and that Biden let it become “under siege.”
“The first thing any president should say – or anybody in public life – is without a border protected, you don’t have a nation,” Kerry said in the interview. “I wish President Biden had been heard more often saying, I’m going to enforce the law.”
Without a border protected, you don’t have a nation — something Trump said on the campaign trail, almost verbatim, as then-President Biden was allowing hundreds of thousands of illegal criminal migrants into the country every month.
Democrats failed to frame Trump’s position as harsh or discriminatory. In fact, immigration is Trump’s strongest issue, with many Americans believing all undocumented immigrants should be removed from the country immediately.
Kerry says Democrats could have learned from Trump’s read on the crisis.
“Trump was right,” Kerry said. “The problem is we all should have been right.”
During a recent CNN segement, senior data analyst Harry Enten admitted that most major polls show the majority of Americans want to see all illegal immigrants deported.
🚨BREAKING: CNN just ADMITTED every single major pollster shows a VAST MAJORITY of Americans want illegal aliens deported.
