During Monday’s edition of The Lead, CNN host Jake Tapper blasted the Biden Administration for being “complicit” in lying about President Biden’s intention to pardon embattled First Son Hunter Biden.
Tapper opened the segment with a clip of President Biden saying he would respect the “Guilty” verdict for his son, Hunter.
Hunter Biden has been found “Guilty” of both tax and gun crimes.
“I said I abide by the jury decision — I will do that and I will not pardon him,” President Biden said in the clip.
“President Biden lying about this, of course, makes others in his administration and allies either credulous or complicit, including press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre who’s been saying this for months,” Tapper said before rolling a supercut of KJP insisting President Biden would not pardon Hunter.
