Top Democrat Strategist On 75% Not Wanting Biden To Run Again: ‘That’s A Big F*cking Number’

Nearly three-quarters of registered voters believe President Biden is “too old” to run for re-election in 2024, according to a new poll from the Wall Street Journal.

The poll contacted 1,500 registered voters Aug. 24-30 and 73% said that Biden is “too old” to run in 2024, and 60% said he’s not “mentally up for the job of president.”

Another recent poll from CNN also found that 75% of Democrats and Democrat-leaning voters want their party to nominate someone other than Biden in 2024.

Top Democrat strategist James Carville responded to Biden’s recent poll numbers during the latest episode of HBO’s “Club Random” with Bill Maher.

“He cannot run for president,” Maher said. “He’ll look bad in the debates. It’s just too much. And he’s I think going to lose. He will be Ruth Bader Biden, that Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the presidency. It’s not a good look and any 50-ish, not stupid woke Democrat with a D by their name – people just vote D or R – that person can win.”

“If we had somebody under 60 and ran against Trump, we would get 55%,” Carville responded. “I don’t like when people take one poll and you extrapolate too much of it. I’ve seen the last 8 polls and they’re all the same. 73-77% of the country does not want Biden to run again — I’m just going to round that to 75%. Okay.”

“That’s a big f*cking number, man,” he added.

“That’s a big number. It’s a very big number for something this crucial. It’s ridiculous,” Maher agreed.
