First, there was the realization that yes, in fact, Dr. Anthony Fauci had funded “gain of function” research at China’s Wuhan Lab – which wound up producing the coronavirus pandemic that killed millions around the globe. His denials, precisely as noted by Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, were a lie.

The DC story says this:
“Documents from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) obtained by a taxpayer watchdog organization reveal that the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), led by Dr. Anthony Fauci, spent $1.68 million on unnecessary research that killed dozens of beagle puppies.
Between October 2018 and February 2019, NIAID-funded research at SRI International involved force-feeding or injecting 44 beagle puppies aged 6-8 months old with an experimental drug before killing and dissecting them, according to documents obtained by White Coat Waste Project (WCW), a taxpayer watchdog organization with a focus on scientific research. The research, deemed unnecessary by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), cost taxpayers $1.68 million.”
Among other things the dogs had their vocal cords cut so they could not bark.
Got that? The federal government agency led by Dr. Fauci was funding killing beagle puppies- with your tax dollars. And oh yes – they were killed after being tortured.

If there is at least one thing that has united a bipartisan outrage, it is torturing puppies. Here’s the headline from The New York Post:
Bipartisan legislators demand answers from Fauci on alleged puppy experiments
The Post reports:
“Dr. Anthony Fauci is facing calls from a bipartisan group of legislators to respond to allegations that his National Institutes of Health division provided a grant to a lab in Tunisia to torture and kill dozens of beagle puppies for twisted scientific experiments.
In a letter to the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) and 23 colleagues addressed their ‘grave concerns about reports of costly, cruel, and unnecessary taxpayer-funded experiments on dogs.’
‘According to documents obtained via a Freedom of Information Act request by taxpayer watchdog group White Coat Waste Project, and subsequent media coverage from October 2018 until February 2019, NIAID spent $1.68 million in taxpayer funds on drug tests involving 44 beagle puppies,’ the Thursday letter reads.”
Could it be that funding what became the Covid pandemic doesn’t get Fauci fired – but this news with an accompanying horrifying video does?
Don’t hold your breath.
But suffice to say, cruelty – not to mention extreme cruelty – to beagle puppies or any other dog is way beyond the pale. To say the least it paints the Fauci-led National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases as a government-funded Frankenstein laboratory.
Leading to the inevitable question: what else is going on with this particular government agency.
And will President Joe Biden – famously a dog owner – put a stop to it – and pronto?
