Amazon jumped on the sham “holier than thou” train with big-tech companies such as Twitter and Facebook when it terminated its contract with the social media platform Parler. Amazon claimed the pro-free speech Parler obtained “violent content on your website.”
Don’t let the condemnation of violence fool you; Amazon could care less about violence. The Media Research Center found at least 204 examples “of merchandise sold on Amazon that promoted violence, either toward President Donald Trump, Republicans or members of the police force” reports Newsbusters.
One can even purchase merchandise advocating for the death of all Republicans or specifically targeting President Trump. Sounds pretty violent. And it gets worse. One can actually purchase the very equipment used to commit a physical act of violence. “Riot gear, including tasers, brass knuckles and stun sticks were also sold,” writes Newsbusters.
For those who may say “it’s right-wing extremists buying those items” think again. For those who really hate Trump, they will be pleased to know that with their purchase, many of these violent promoting products include a flag with a graphic image of Trump blowing his brains out; free of charge. How thoughtful.
A few other items listed that must have accidentally been overlooked by the “violent content” police are a mug with the slogan “Where is Lee Harvey Oswald now that we really him?” as well as a black T-shirt with a red slogan, “Kill All Republicans.” Oops, Amazon’s “violent police” must have known about the item as it was a sponsored listing on Amazon.
Certainly, these over 200 items will be removed shortly as Amazon condemns “violent content.” If not, perhaps lawsuits of “inciting” violence and complicity of high crimes and misdemeanors should come flooding in.
